It is definitely better than car windshield phone holders that fall down while driving, which is very annoying. I had to use the included rubber pad as it sometimes fell out over time due to bumps in the road, so knowing that one size doesn't fit all was definitely a plus. It's great in my 2015 Ford Escape so my phone is in my line of sight and not a distraction.

Please note it will not fit for 2011 Impala. He presses down on the volume knob and won't let it turn. You can still adjust the volume on the steering wheel, but the power button is also held down when you press it. So turning the stereo on and off is a hassle unless you hold it up and toggle that knob off. It probably works fine on other cars. Just a warning to Impala owners.

Easy installation. However, does not remain in the CD slot when using motorway exits/entrances or cornering at speeds in excess of 40 mph. Road vibration from highway driving will also cause it to fall out after a while. I tried different thick pads that came with the kit but the result is still the same. Shame as the dash space was perfect for holding the phone. Can't recommend it.

I was thinking of getting a head unit with navigation for my Audi A4 03 but I saved money! Now I can just pop this into my rarely used CD player and use my phone to navigate. It swivels to any angle, so you always have the perfect view. I've never worried about my phone falling out, the thing is really solid and strong. Overall I'm very happy I got this and saved the money I would have spent on a touchscreen main unit!

After a quick review of the attached instructions (very few and mostly in a foreign language). I happily went and installed it in my car. I like the fact that it's easier to access and view my phone. The body of the device is durable. The locking mechanism works well and the spring is strong enough to hold most phones. Overall a good buy. I would recommend this to anyone who needs quick access and is having trouble accessing regular widow holders.

Come today. I needed an alternative to balancing the phone on a mini-tray above the top screen on the side for everyday use. I'm glad the phone doesn't block anything, including the second display or the air vents that allow hot air to damage my phone's screen. Do not take the ventilation brackets! I messed up my phone screen due to hot air being blown into the back of the phone. Luckily my screen was replaced for free, but still. Hopefully it stays in place and doesn't fall out.

The perfect phone mount so far. I like the flexibility and ease of installation/removal. Having a large phone means I have to reconfigure it every few days or so depending on what bumps I encounter, but other than that this thing holds like glue. Inserting and removing the phone from the spring-loaded mount can be done with two hands, but only takes a second. It does block my info screen/clock on my radio but hey that's the price you pay in my car to have such a great phone mount!
