Universal Air Conditioner EX 10477C: A/C Expansion Valve for Efficient Cooling Review

We have received 2 offers. $2300 and $5000+. This simple part fixed the whole AC system problem. If your Toyota has this part and significant mileage and the supercharger is doing its job but the pressure doesn't seem to equalize. This valve may be defective. Our 2011 Toyota Sienna was nearing 170,000 and that part, along with the pre and post charge, saved the air conditioning in our van.

Fits snugly on the 2011 Toyota Sienna. Fixed non-working air conditioning. The high side pressure rises to about 225 psi, then falls and continues to fluctuate below about 160 psi. The old valve was fine, but pressure fluctuations on the high side indicated that it was not passing the correct amount of refrigerant. That, plus the fact that the supercharger wasn't noisy and pumped out 225psi, told me it was fine. This valve has been replaced and the air conditioning now works as expected.

2011 Toyota Sienna 3.5L My problem was poor cooling, especially at idle. Pressure gauges indicate normal high pressure and high low pressure. (250psi high 70-80psi long) I figured if the compressor could pump to that high pressure then it would be ok. Found this valve and swapped it with the compressor on the car. You must repair your AC system according to local law. You will need to replace the valve and evacuate and refill the system. In my opinion this will not fix a damaged compressor that
