This clip works great but as part of it is on top of the radar detector release button it will detach from the visor unless you make sure it clicks into place when you attach it to the visor.

mech, all right. I think it's too thin as sometimes the clip detaches and falls off. Works fine if not disturbed at all. It's great because it's mounted high. Sucks in manufacturing quality. It did its job 80% of the time. I've had times when I tried to snap it in place and it got thrown off. I've had mine since March 17th. I just switched to a mirror mount.
