🌬️ KT 4403 Universal Air Conditioner Compressor and Component Kit for Optimal Cooling Review

The A/C Compressor failed on my Pioneer Chevy '04 (257,000 miles), replaced it and installed a new battery. Trust me, this saved me $600/$750 in my pocket.

I am always surprised by some of the Revain prices on these parts which means they are low. I feel bad about my local parts dealers, they can't keep up! The supercharger did not come with a head bolt - I cut the bolt from an old block, I know the one with the bolt is available, maybe I should have looked more closely. Other than what I installed, it works as advertised. Large selection of O-rings, difficult to obtain locally.

The item arrived on time but was missing some of the items described as part of the package contents. The core elements I needed to make it work were there, and I was able to reuse some of my own elements, so there weren't any lags. The package was missing all of the hoses, o-rings, washers and oil that should have been in the kit. That's why I'm giving a bad rating. If all parts were there I would give 5 stars.

The kit was in new condition everything fit - only problem was when I called the manufacturer to check the oil level the information on the box was wrong. The buyer should check with the manufacturer for the exact amount of oil needed - it will be determined/related to the model/make and size of your AC system. I reassembled everything with no leaks and lots of o-rings as I used metal washers with rubber grommets attached.

Definitely worth doing this job yourself. It took a few hours and it seemed really intimidating, but my compressor got stuck and I work as a roofer in downtown Texas during the summer. So I had no choice, I had to have my car and all the surrounding mechanics had been there for at least a week. My suggestion is to rent a waste tank and vacuum from a local auto parts store and mind your own business. You can buy a set of sensors cheap here, just like me. So absolutely worth it! And there are…
