Should hold 400 lbs. It matched the style of the chair I replaced on the swivel patio chair perfectly. The weight never exceeded 220 pounds. After 3 days the bearings started to fail. I sent it back.

Used on a heavy kitchen stool that stopped working. Everything lines up perfectly and just screws into the same holes. It spins smoothly when my uncle sits on it. its weight is about 200 pounds. Very happy with the results.

The base looks solid enough but it can't be used - the pivot mechanism is almost stuck. Either some ball bearings are missing, or some of them are seized or misaligned. I'm a handmade furniture maker and going back to my usual brand

The product seemed reasonably priced and had good reviews so I tried it on my Lazyboy chair. It worked great for about 2 months, then the part started falling apart and all the ball bearings fell out making it unusable. The original work took 21 years, but this one only 2 months. Completely unacceptable.

If you are replacing something like this, check the dimensions carefully. Also note that both plates are parallel. If you are renovating a chair, you can use the reclining version, which moves the chair backwards for more comfortable sitting. You will notice the difference. Spacers can be a workaround if you can't find a beveled version.
