It's useless if you cannot mount it on your bike -- updated on 05/28/2018

Bell is decent but the mount is way too small for my road bike. It's useless if you cannot mount it on your bike. I use it to signal my dog when its meal is ready.Update: As I mentioned in my original post that the quality of the bell is decent. I gave it two stars in my original review was mainly because the mount was too small to fit on my road bike. Great tone and volume level, but does not fit the radio flyer without slight modifications

Nice bell, looks good, easy to use, child loves ringing it when they see people along the street or just riding around the house. It's a gentle tone, not piercing. When they first started using it, they rang it just a bit too much, but it was fun rather than annoying if that makes any sense,Negative - Out the box, it does not fit the radio flyer trike. A quality product at a value price

The bike bell installed easily and sounds great. Not obnoxious like some horns people use to let pedestrians know you're coming. A nice chime that is loud and sharp enough to get attention without causing others to have a heart attack. Arrived without any problem in shipping and on time. Use it frequently in my neighborhood and when taking trips to nearby bike trails. I will but from this seller again.

Nice ring, but not very loud

Easy to install. The tone of the bell is nice, with a a long ring. It is not very loud. For loud, congested areas, this bell may not be loud enough.

Most useful equipment ever!

My god the usefulness of this little item can't be overstated!The electric vehicle boom has made it evident how frustrating it can be when people slower than you are in the way.This is the more effective and courteous way to get people to move.Worth it's weight in gold!

Great little bell in my review

Great little bell. Sound is just right for alerting walkers when riding a shared trail. Volume is good. Easy to activate. My only complaint is it can only be used with the left hand, I'd prefer to be able to mount on either side.

Can't mount on road bike handlebars

These bells are my favorite -- clearer and louder than other bells. However, I took 1 star off because I can't mount them on my road bike. My handlebars have padding on them and the mount is too narrow. Please make a new version!

Very satisfied even though missing nut.

I wish I could give it 5 stars. It's very good loud and clear ring.But it came with missing the nut on which the bolt is fastened.Fortunately, I have a box of nuts of the same size. It took me 15 minutes to force and align the nut into the tight slot where it needs to be.Now I am very happy with the ringer.

The plastic holder doesn't align with the handle bar very well; hard to install. Even after install, I worry that it'll fall off; but I've got a backup (it came as a 2-pack).

Worth what I paid for it

Product as described, arrived on time. It's a fairly chintzy bell, a little inconsistent in its ringing (sometimes gives one ding, like a single impact, sometimes multiple, like from a ratcheted clapper). It works, though it is not overly loud. It will be fine for riding along relatively quiet trails, to warn pedestrians. But it doesn't carry very far. Also, although I cannot comment on its longevity or hardiness yet, if definitely is of lightweight construction, and I wouldn't bet my life on…

Little bell; big ring!

I needed a small bell that had a decent ring and this little bell checked all the boxes! It was easy to install on my adult bike, it's well-made; the ring is nice and loud; and the price is right. I'm right-handed and the lever is perfect for me, however, I don't know how it would work for lefties.

I was skeptical of this bell given its low price point, but I gave it a chance and am so glad I did. It has proven to be loud, and easy to mount and use. I heartily recommend it.

Because I use my damn bell to let people know I'm coming up behind them. Why don't you weekend Tour de Francers on the municipal trail not scare the bejesus out of me and my dogs and either yell ON YOUR LEFT or get this bell and save your voice. You're probly just a real estate agent at the end of the day.
