Applications: Fit most 1982-2007 Dodge A518 (46RH, 46RE), A618 (47RH, 47RE, 48RE) and A727 (36RH, 37RH) transmissions. Function: This Filter Extender 14010 is available for transmission pan that will lower the filter 1 inch deeper into the pan, and allow proper oil pickup from pan. Reduces fluid temperatures 20-50°F and increases fluid capacity. Package includes: 1x5/32” Allen Wrench, 1xO-ring, 1x Transmission Filter Extender(Spacer Block), 5xFlat Washer, and 2 sets of bolts(6xbolts).

I recently installed the DEF 14010 Deep Pan Filter Extender on my Dodge Ram and though I wouldn't say I'm blown away, I have noticed some improvements. The installation process was straightforward, and the silver finish looks pretty sleek. My one gripe is that it wasn't compatible with my particular transmission (which I didn't realize before purchasing). So, just make sure you do your research before clicking the "buy" button.
