🕹️ Enhanced iKKEGOL USB Foot Pedal Switch: Hands-Free One Key Control for Video Games and PC Tasks Review

I bought this to give my hand a break during the day by simulating a left click. A very versatile input device that I can use even with aching hands. I will most likely buy a second one for right clicking.

I use it as a record/stop record switch for professional instruments. This hotkey is Ctrl/Space. Works perfectly! After downloading the application from the included CD, it's a bit difficult to figure out how to program the footswitch. Once you figure it out, it's locked and turns to gold. Made from lightweight plastic so I don't get aggressive and put all my weight on it, but seems well made enough to hold up if handled or walked sensibly.

Comes with a small disc which gave me a fright as the computer I was planning to use it with (foot pedal, microphone button for separate streaming PC) I don't have a floppy drive, let alone a small floppy drive. However, when I googled the ikkegol brand, I was able to easily find their website as well as the software for this product. It works flawlessly for my projects when you want a simple one button pedal. This is probably the best value you can find.

I use this for team talk on Call of Duty PC. It works well. I wish it was about half the size but it puts my foot in an uncomfortable position. However, it works well so I don't have to take my finger off the "wasd" movement keys so I can focus on the fight in front of me. I had to pay an extra $7 for a USB drive. extension cord to reach my floor.

I'm using this on a Mac (so no software available) but it responds to the letter "R". So with open source software like Karabiner you can remap it to something else, or your software, the game, lets you change the keybinding. It's easy and it works. It's a little slippery than we'd like on wooden floors, but it feels solid overall.

I had a vision of using this footswitch in Battlefield 5, but in all cases I didn't succeed. I kept him going and he moved. He moves a lot and that's a problem. Because it is an optical switch, there is no feeling when the switch is turned on or off. Terrible pedal response too. Even though it's bigger, it's also difficult to push and your foot has to sit right on it and your legs get tired. Although I wanted it to work, it's bad in this game app.
