They're made for 18" director's chairs - a real plus - but it takes some effort to get them working. The problem is how the seat tarp attaches to the wooden frame. There is two parts that need to be inserted into the seat: a small dowel that holds the seat attached to the wood of the legs and a flat bar that puts pressure on the sides to keep the base taut, neither of which work properly As for dowels, the lip on the end of the seat sheet was too thick to fit next to the bar when the seat sheet
