They're made for 18" director's chairs - a real plus - but it takes some effort to get them working. The problem is how the seat tarp attaches to the wooden frame. There is two parts that need to be inserted into the seat: a small dowel that holds the seat attached to the wood of the legs and a flat bar that puts pressure on the sides to keep the base taut, neither of which work properly As for dowels, the lip on the end of the seat sheet was too thick to fit next to the bar when the seat sheet is inserted into the channel that holds it (for my chair at least) I finally managed to get it, but it wasn't easy.Of course you can cut the dowel shorter than the distance between the edges,but that's also a pain.There just isn't room for the slats in the seat mount flap to put them in. Befes at the end I attached them to the underside of the armrests. This works fine, but it's not the way it's supposed to be.
