The biggest problem I have with push button switches is that sometimes the actuator is so loose that it can tip to one side and get stuck, but not this switch, it has very tight tolerances and a smooth ride, strong spring force but not too complicated. press and the metal finish looks good too. I installed this switch in my car as a clutch release switch. My previous truck had a similar button that overrides the "clutch to start" requirement, which I really liked and used it every time I started it. So I just connected this switch to the connector above the clutch in parallel with the wiring and voila: put the car in neutral, flip the switch, turn the key and voor-room. Pedals are not depressed.
