Great welding gloves - highly recommend!

As an Industrial and Scientific professional, I recently purchased these welding gloves and I was very impressed with their durability and functionality. As my tests showed they were able to withstand high levels of heat without any damage to my hands. The gloves also provide a great grip and control for precision welding work .The only downside is that they are not suitable for extremely cold temperatures. Overall, these are an excellent choice FOR anyone in need of reliable and protective…

Pros
  • Easy and quick to use, with a comfortable grip handle
Cons
  • Requires a steady hand to strike a proper arc

You get what you pay for

This hood worked for me after some modifications. I added rubber washers to the hinges to keep the hood upright. I also used two pieces of TIG aluminum bar between the harness and the hood to keep the hood from hitting my neck when I dropped it. The hood is heavy.

Pros
  • 4-1/2" x 5-1/4" field of view
Cons
  • No performance
