The cable is a bit stiff (inflexible)

I should have chosen something cheaper, with probably thinner and more flexible cable; for my specific application. At this length, however, the options are limited. It's a great cable though. Just a little annoyingly stiff when the mouse is plugged in for charging while in use.

Doesn't support advertised 5 Gbps data rate, $9 wasted.

as it was claimed to have data rates of 5 to support Gbps. But when I use it, the USB connection is at a lower speed. I have a shorter cable and a longer cable both running at 5Gbps in the same application, so I know the speed limit is related to that cable. Shouldn't have returned it so I just wasted $9 and my time. I regret buying a cable that had few reviewers.

Galaxy S8 won't connect to Android Auto.

I love this cable, I bought 2 of these and they both work great with my Galaxy S9 and Android Auto. Unfortunately, while they charge, none of them work with the Hubby S8 Android Auto. I do not know why! To update. I have changed my rating to 5 stars. The problem was in Honda Android Auto. Sometimes it seems like he has a mind of his own.
