Rugged cable for your portable devices

If you have Micro USB-B peripherals and need to connect to modern Galaxy laptops or smartphones with USB 3.1 Type-C ports, this is the one great solution to avoid USB Type-C migration USB Type A (Female) Adapter. I have a CF/SD/mSD card reader with a standard USB-A pigtail cable, so connecting to my smartphone and downloading photos from the camera always has connection stability issues, while using another card reader Sony XQD /SD and WD MyPassport external 2.5" portable hard drive with Micro…

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Vulgarity

This cable is made of a better and more durable material than the cable that came with my WD external hard drive. I also like the alternation of black and white. Use it to easily connect to the USB-C port of your Samsung PC laptop as well as your Macbook Pro. However, the end of the USB-C cable is "glued" to the connector fairly tightly (presumably to avoid cable disconnection). However, this means that I had to use more force than usual to pull out the cable when unplugging the device.

Pros
  • There is something wrong with it
Cons
  • Was damaged

Just perfect with my 15 " MacBook Pro

I bought the short ones (actually I bought 2 of these) and they feel nice and snap nicely and securely onto my MacBook Pro and hard drive. I like the shorter length so I can fit the hard drive under my MacBook Pro (it's resting on a cooling rack) and it's nice to put in a backpack without having to extend it.I also like the feel of the fabric as it's more flexible than other types I've received.I didn't notice any speed difference between this cable and the USB cable that came with my hard…

Sometimes I just can't win.

I used USB-A to USB-C to USB-A to USB 3.1 cables to connect my backup drives to my Mac Connect Book Pro. The adapters worked well enough, but on my MBP they were a bit loose on the USB-C side. Hit something and the connection will be lost. This is particularly annoying and can be disastrous when dealing with external backup drives. With these new USB-C to USB 3.1 cables I don't have this problem at all and they allow me to remove adapters from the mix. However, both connectors on the new cables

Excellent product in every respect

Used on a WD 4TB external hard drive. Ideal for WD. I didn't notice any speed difference at all compared to USB, mainly because HD can only send information so fast and my laptop can only read information so fast (HP OMEN 15t) and I have about 2TB of files on my HD. So once connected it takes about 7 seconds for the files to open and maybe another 8 seconds to read each individual file. About what happened before. For some reason I bought 3' don't do it. That's great, but you probably won't…
