Works with Chromebook Acer Spin 13 and LG 43 " Monitor 43UD79

This title says it all. I was looking for a cable to extend my Chromebook Acer Spin 13 desktop to my LG 43 inch monitor with 4K resolution. It absolutely does it in 4k at 60Hz. I've tried other USB-C to USB-C cables I have at home with no success until I bought this one. I just got this cable today so can't speak to it for durability. It looks well made and quite thick with well attached ends. I will definitely update this review if it changes in any way.

Yes! Finally my Asus Zen Display works with my MacBook

. I almost gave up trying to get this combo to work without a cheat workaround. My MacBook only has a USB-C port, as does the Asus Zen display. This only worked with a USB-C to USB-A adapter and then a USB-A to USB-C cable. It seemed ridiculous, but it was the only combination that worked. After reading many similar issues, I was wondering if my cheap cables were the real problem, so I ordered this one. Wow, it works! No more cumbersome adapters and weird connections. That's a great cable.

Very good "Full Speed " 3.1/Gen 2 USB cable

I needed a longer cable to use with a Samsung T5/1TB SSD. This cable works perfectly. Since my desktop has both an external Samsung T5 SSD and an internal SSD, I needed this cable to use the USB 3.1/Gen 2 port on my PC. This cable provides 10Gbps bandwidth for these functions. This cable also has a bit of a "thick" feel to it, indicating quality workmanship and durability that I hope will last. This cable offers the data transfer speed I expected for 10Gbps between my internal (PC) SSD AND my…

Superb USB-C to Video Cable

I am using this as a video cable for the LG Electronics 42.5" 4K LED Backlit Monitor (43UD79-B) for my MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Works very well. Note. If you want to power the Apple 5K model, you don't need a USB-C cable (although they share the same connector). There seems to be 3 types: charging, data and Thunderbolt3 video. This is a type of data, It should also work with external hard drives. By the way, do not try to look for longer cables, the USB-C standard limits them to 1m. The…

Right length and push 4k!

Does what I need! It streams 4K video from my 2018 Macbook Pro to my USB-C enabled LG Ultrawide monitor. However, I was unable to properly distribute power to the Macbook as it was drawing more power than it was receiving. While the laptop was showing the loading icon, it kept draining until it reached 0%. The length is just right too. If it were a little longer, there would be too much leeway to roll it up and hide it somewhere on your desk. This type of cable is most likely purchased to…

Good cable, worth a small extra charge

I have purchased both this product and [USB-IF Certified] Cable Matters USB-C to USB-A Gen 2 (10Gbps) Black Cable colors, 3.3ft / 1m different USB-C requirements. It's not the cheapest option, but it's worth it - why risk a $100 device to save $5 on a cable? The cables and connectors are solidly built and feel pretty solid. As a result, cables don't bend or bend as easily as most. It's a bit inconvenient when I'm plugging my phone into the car and trying to position it away from the shifter…

Ideal for external SSDs with USB 3.1 performance

Works as intended. I bought an enclosure for my SSD (850 evo) that uses a USB-C 3 connection (one end like this, the other end USB 3. Both are classified as USB-C in terms of performance and, like me, have have researched, the same speeds through this or another cable). However, I wanted both ends to be like this as my laptop has limited USB ports. The case model I'm using is Orico 2.5" USB-C (also bought here) and I had to buy this cable separately but they said it would work. I'm happy with…
