I bought these to replace a cheap mattress topper which is horribly soiled (blood). Less than two weeks later this one arrived, it saved my mattress! An improperly capped water bottle spilled about 20 ounces of tea on my bed before I knew it and completely soaked the linens but not my mattress! It was absolutely dry under this tread and the tread dried quickly after soaking with a towel.

I am so angry with this product. My son wet the bed. This "Protector" leaked out like it never existed. So much urine spilled out that it got wet, went through a quilted guard and straight into our Temurped mattress. Do not look at this product. This is not a defect, just poorly made and misleading. How does a mattress protector become useless, you ask?!

I used to have these and when I had to replace them I wasn't a fan of the ones I bought at Walmart. When I saw her again, I grabbed her. With a new puppy, they are priceless. The only odd thing is when I opened them (I bought 4 for the twin XL beds) they all had these brown stains on the sides. I don't know what it is, but it doesn't wash off. But they work and I love them (terry top) so I'm happy with my purchase.

I guess I didn't know it would look like a towel. Of course we will buy a regular sheet to walk on. Because we thought it would feel as smooth as our other mattress pads and we might not need to put another sheet on top. There have not been any outbreaks or accidents yet. His new bed for my son is also setting up his new room. But I wish it was a smooth surface to avoid extra material to wash off in the event of an accident or spill.

I bought this for my cat. She is chronically ill, often nauseous, and occasionally pees on my blankets. I'm going on a trip and want to make sure the bed is safe. The case looks thin and fragile, but I only need it for a week. I was able to get it myself in full size. The instructions say to use two people, but there is no room for two people.
