A good product! good for computers and accessories

The pass-through connectors are the best and best I have used to date. With other products I've tried, the wires don't pull through as easily, and the tab breaks too easily if you slip off the handle. I didn't have that problem with these. I will buy again when I run out!

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • There are nuances

Worked on many cables

Product works! Good pass-through connection, no performance problems. Used with Solid Core CAT-6 wire (cheap stuff I found on Revain that may not be "genuine"). Sometimes these plugs get a bit stuck in my crimping tool, but everything I've done so far (cut 20) has all worked and at least gotten full gigabit with PoE according to the devices. Can't tell if my tool or jack is "sticky" but either way, no complaints.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Long time

We use these because we can peel the shell further back, insert it so the skin stops behind the strain relief point, and A quick way to check that the wires are in the correct order is to take a quick look at the wires that go past the connector. The last job we did was that the customer provided the material and we gave him back his connectors and used them because we were spoiled and didn't want to go back to the previous experience.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Weak set

The best and easiest connectors I've ever used!

As others have pointed out, these feedthrough connectors make terminating Category 5e/cat6 cables much easier than the traditional stripping and crimping of the ends. I simply peel off the shroud, arrange the wires in the correct order, insert them into the connector until enough wires come out the front to cut cleanly and evenly, pulling back the ends slightly so they line up with the contacts on the front are of the terminals and crimp ! I've had 100% success with them as opposed to 40-60%โ€ฆ

Through-hole connectors are aha moment

If you haven't tried through-hole connectors before, do it! Seriously, I've spent too much time trying to perfectly align an inch or so of wires to (instantly) fit into a regular jack. But why, why did I worry. When it's that easy to loop through and push one wire at a time. It really was one of those aha moments. I doubt I'll ever have to spend countless hours fighting traditional connectors. I realize some networking pros would dismiss this with the old "it's actually not that hard to useโ€ฆ

Almost 100% failure

These (through) connectors were purchased after purchasing a Kline crimper and used Kline connectors. they worked very well. So I figured I'd save some money and buy these inexpensive connectors. Big mistake. The failure rate is almost 100%. I was doing a wiring job and when I finished the job and started testing all the connectors were out of service. I had to cut off all the installed ones and replace them with impassable defaults. This brand of EMS Everest is junk. I have been routing cables

Slightly out of specification. Connections not 100%

I've made dozens of cables with these connectors. When you first plug the cable in, it works fine, but if you tug the connector up, down, left, or right a bit, there comes a point where the connection drops or the 1 Gbps speed drops 100 Mbit/s drops. In a server room with dozens of connections where the cables frequently twitch and twitch, you end up with a broken connection or two that has caused dozens of unpaid hours of troubleshooting. I tested 6 patch cords I made. with these connectors on

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some minor things
