Stick to the brand name, $1000 down the drain

I thought this would be a great way to maintain our UV system and save some money. Our system was professionally installed by the Culligan Water Specialist for over $1,000. We replaced it with these lamps. It worked well for most of the year and then melted both the light and the UV unit which now needs to be replaced. We were very lucky with the water issue as my husband noticed our water was not working and was able to turn the water off shortly after. Our crawl space flooded a bit, but we…
