I have a brand new phone and still wanted my 4 phone system. I unplugged the phone line from the wall outlet and plugged in the adapter, then plugged in two phone lines and now the two phone systems are plugged into the same wall outlet.

I've bought many of these over the decades, most have always been a little weak in the clamp that holds them in the socket. This clamp is strong and will stay in place while electrically providing a secure connection. Not much to say, but it does its job well and deserves a good rating.

One never worked at all. The other kept losing the internet. I finally bought an adapter from Staples [Power Gear 76191 Duplex In-Wall Adapter, White] at the end of June. Since then no problems.
