They work, rust, ok for the price

I'm rating these 3 stars not 5 because they don't have a protective coating against corrosion on the tips. As a result, if you solder quite often. You will need all 5 of them and then some because they only last for a limited time after which they burn out. After a while it can get really difficult to re-tin them. But they are inexpensive, so there are 3 stars.

Suitable for my Zeny 862D+ soldering station.

This review mainly confirms that these tips are suitable for the Zeny 862D+ Soldering Station. The shoulder of these tips is a bit long, but I can still put them in my iron with ease. These tips are too thin for most of my hobby soldering work. But lately I'm doing micro soldering where these tips are very useful, so I don't regret having bought them and having them handy.

Pros
  • Parts and Accessories
Cons
  • Obsolete Model

complete nonsense. I ignored the bad reviews but they are right. My Hakko has plenty of power but the tip still gets cold and gets stuck in the pads when working with the board. It can definitely ruin what you're working on. I tinned the tip myself as I did all my tips by coating it with solder then turning off the iron and letting it cool before using. After 15 minutes of use (after proper tinning), the tip is discolored and no longer works.

Pros
  • tools and household goods
Cons
  • doubts exist
