According to my experience, these connectors are not only difficult to work with but also unreliable. The plating peels off easily and the solder doesn't stick well, leading to a poor connection.

Screws don't sit well on the wire. As if they were too small or just the wrong screw. He ended up rubbing the wire to make it work properly.

Not bad for the price but misleading product name. The plugs do not appear to be gold plated. This is a gold color. obviously a darker yellow than any genuine gold-plated plug. Time will tell if the connectors oxidize like some of the other fake gold connectors I've had. The outer "gold" ring is actually a separate part from the ground/crimped part (which is on the thin and weak side) which is only connected by crimping.
