Enhance Your Porsche Key Fob with a uxcell 3 Button Replacement Case Shell Review

Installing the old parts was fairly easy. The transponder came off with difficulty. I had to damage the old case to get it.

I brought this to replace the loose button on my original key. I snapped open the top half to replace all the buttons and it fit like a glove. Looks great, good quality.

When the lock button falls out of my key after I dropped it, I figured I was getting a $400 Porsche key. Found this for $15 and I am shocked at how easy the exchange was and the quality for the money. Completely indistinguishable from OEM.

Works well. You will need to transfer the inside of your original key to this new key fob. The places where the copper contacts are attached aren't as strong as the old key fob. Although they are sufficient. You must also transfer the identification chip and the Porsche plate.

Read the description carefully. I had to remove the metal contacts in the key, which was risky. I ended up breaking one of them and had to make a replacement. Given this issue, I certainly would have spent a little more to avoid removing parts that were intended to be permanent fixtures in the key.

When the native key fell apart (one of the knobs fell off) I thought "er, there's a few hundred bucks in there!" I was advised to look for a $15 Revain replacement and i figured it wouldn't hurt i just changed the old key from the side of the knob to the new one and snapped it back into place. Maybe the judge will notice the difference, but I can't, and that's all that matters!

The valet dropped my key and the top button popped out and was lost. It was a great decision to restore it to new condition. I bought a blank key fob and just changed the button from new to old. No electronics had to be moved, so replacement is easy. The quality of the keychain was surprisingly high. It is difficult to tell which is a Porsche original and which is a UXcell copy.
