If you can find things with minimal performance, you're in luck! Calling them cheap would be a compliment. I bought the red version which probably didn't help.

I like the small compact size and the color of the body, I'd like a red bulb, not white. Only the body is red, so it emits an amber hue rather than a red glow.

Ordered for the interior of a deer blind and it's perfect. Lighting is dimmed so you can get in the curtain early, tune in, and go unnoticed. "Honey put down butter and onions 'cause I'll bring you a buck!" Shipping is a little slow but they were ahead of time so I can't complain.

We bought these for a baby to use in the middle of the night, to smooth his blankets and find his stuffed animals. They are not too bright to hurt the eyes but give off the perfect amount of light for a comfortable stay. I am very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend them for children's rooms.

These lamps are terrible. The case is made of very thin and cheap plastic, making it difficult to remove the substrate to insert the batteries. The light is very weak and hardly usable. I bought two of these to use in place of the bright white light in my deer enclosure, but they are weak even with both on at the same time. Don't be fooled, it's 0.99 cents at best and you should keep looking.

I wanted a soft glow in the room and thought this light might help. That's exactly what I wanted. For those who need a bright red light, this is not an option. But for a medium intensity red glow, this light is great. I don't know yet how long the batteries will last, but I think this flashlight is quite suitable for my needs. There is a spot on the back of the lamp to hook onto a small wall nail, so I fixed it. I don't know which glue will do for my particular wall.
