They work, but the actual part of the socket didn't impress me. It is a fiberglass sheet with a contact point that moves on a spring. Pretty basic, but it doesn't move very smoothly in the nest shaft. I installed three and when I put the bulbs in I had to make sure the spring was pressing against the plate and making good contact.
