Inaccurate and unreliable thermometer

When I tried this product, it displayed wildly inconsistent readings and was completely useless for measuring temperature.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Unreliable and inaccurate.

Doesn't work for me

I ordered this probe for use with the Inkbird ITC-106VH PID due to its long length. The 106VH has a setting for Pt100, but I've never been able to get that sensor to work, so I don't know if it's a sensor. But after reading that others have failed to get non-Pt100 sensors to work, I have to think that the limitation is related to the PID and not the sensor. This probe seems well made and well priced, but to me it's a waste of money so I'll stay in the middle and give it 3 stars. BTW: K-probes…

Pros
  • Type: Pt100; Measurement range: -392-842F/-200-450C
Cons
  • Socket required
