I bought these because the Vac store doesn't have a head that size and I needed a brush. If you have dusty air vent covers, this brush is an indispensable tool for them. It can eject deep dust and not clog. Also, the bristles are fairly stiff and durable, they don't cut or sag like wheel brushes. I prefer to use a brush/wand to clean tile/laminate floors, but my upholstery attachment is very small. I figured I'd get something bigger so the cleanup would be quicker. This brush definitely fits. The only downside is that the bristles are quite stiff - I would have preferred more flexible bristles for cutting dust, but it still gets the job done.
