A couple of hoses are stored in our RV basement and I connected the ends of each hose to make sure there were no leaks in the basement. However, this meant that I either had to make large loops when rolling up the hose or the hose would twist when connecting the ends. This product allows me to minimize the space I need to store my hoses without kinking them.

I liked it so much I ordered another pair. I use these caps to seal the ends of drinking water hoses. A nice feature (which I wasn't aware of) is that the hose still drains with these caps. There appears to be a drain function to allow any remaining water to be drained from the hose - even with the lids closed. This eliminates my concerns about water getting stuck in the hose, which eventually becomes a nuisance. Good product worth the money.

I have caps for all our hoses but these white ones I used for the white hose. Keep dirt and grime off our drinking water hose! We also use Lysol spray on the end of the outside tap, at the end of the hose. Pull the hose all the way through to make sure the standing water comes out. Make sure you sanitize your tanks! The good thing about these caps is that they have a loop to attach the loop to the hose so it's right there. Got up normally, water doesn't flow anywhere.

Glad to see these caps. I bought two sets as we have two 25ft potable water houses for our RV. Just put them on and use a hose to fill the tank with fresh water just as we set up the dry storage. They can be a little awkward to use as the caps tend to drag the loop with them. You have to be careful when using it. I love that you can tighten the loop so it stays on the faucet at home rather than sliding to the floor and getting dirty, defeating the purpose of keeping dirt etc off your drinking…
