🔧 Valterra A04-0161 EZ Hose Carrier Replacement Cap and Strap - White: Convenient and Durable Hose Storage Solution Review

Lost the original cover during one of our trips. This is a perfect replacement, identical to the original. The drain hose was left in place because I added a 5" x 1/4" bolt to the hole for "insurance".

This was exactly the replacement part I needed but my hose tube has warped from weather/road wear. After a little tweaking to fit the new and old parts together, everything worked great. Already stopped at my first 1200 km. Good price, timely delivery.

The only thing that bothers me about the cap is the price. For a fairly simple thing, the price is too high. Couldn't find it anywhere else so bought it anyway as I needed it to replace a loose one and the elastic broke.

Perfect fit to replace the original factory plug. I wanted it to come in black. the previous cover came off while traveling and i lost my new drain hose. Too bad Valterra can't think of a better way to attach the cap.

You'll probably only need it if you lost that for the drain pipe you bought for your caravan/motor home. My replacement cap arrived with a broken strap tongue. But it doesn't matter, because the small plastic tab will most likely break anyway. Ditch the elastic and use a metal cable or chain instead. Then you don't have to come back here if the old one is between Albuquerque and San Antonio.
