I reinstalled it and tested the fit after spraying bleach water all over it and now it works. Just make sure you take a good look after plugging it in and you'll be fine. Requiring a thorough inspection every time is no good on a part that uses black water, hence the low rating.

I installed it today. Like many other reviewers, I had a leak. The leakage was significant; more than a drop or two that I can live with. I'm not sure if the leak is from the slip ring or the gasket. It's a good thing that there are four castles instead of two. That helps the clutch. The material could be stronger and not bend as much. I'll add a silicon bead to either the slip ring or the gasket when I figure out the culprit.

Very nice! I only bought this unit after buying the Camco version which was a horrible and dirty mistake. This tube adapter has been amazing so far, it was very easy to install, made of durable material and has 4 "wings" that hold it in place. Love the fact that it has the ability to flip without having to take it apart for installation. This adapter gets a solid 5 stars at this point and I don't look like Uncle Eddie standing over the sewers because the tank is full.
