Arrived damaged almost everything was missing and opened

I ordered this set of two new valve stems for my bike because I have used them before and liked them. I received an open package, a valve stem was missing. The one that was there had a huge chunk of rubber and metal sticking out of the base and was missing the cap... I'm not sure how that "accidentally" happened, some must have done it on purpose. Not happy now my bike will not be together as I am waiting for new ones

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

The bike comes with Schrader valve tubing, no port modification.

The bike came with Schrader valve hoses. To install the modification without a pipe, no changes to the holes were required. Tubeless valve stems are high quality and work as advertised, no leaks on first try. There were some problems with the lock nut. I added a second nut to each valve so I can lock the nuts together for extra security. A single nut installation is not very reliable and if the nut loosens it can cause a leak.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive

Base leaking at tires and wheels

Spent two days getting it to work but inevitably it always leaks at the base. I'm trying to convert a 26" wheel to tubeless, I have a regular aluminum rim. I think the problem is that the thread starts too far from the cone rubber seal and the seal is not strong enough. So with thin rims there is simply no way to achieve an airtight seal. Yes, I know you shouldn't overtighten it, but even hand tightening it I couldn't get a decent seal. I've tried adding more tape, increasing the distance…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black
