🚗 Ultimate Performance: Valvoline ULV Transmission Fluid - 1 QT Review

The only oil I will spend my money on. Valvoline holds all three of my trucks that have run over 250,000km with no engine or transmission problems.

I went back to the factory recommended Type F (which is also a steering fluid spec) for my C6 gearbox. My transmission got a good flush and primed with this stuff and I'm fine for another ten years.

When it comes to car oils and ATF, I'm honestly not a friend of cleanliness. All of these items must meet at least the minimum quality requirements, which is why I have a reputation for buying the cheapest items and being happy with them. Valvoline ATF is reasonably priced (although all of these products are MUCH more expensive than they were a few years ago!) as I drive 60 year old Fords it's great to find a brand that still offers the Type F.

I seem to use this Type F gear oil more than any other in my 1966 Black Mustang Coupe Raven. Type F for 66 FORDS is often quite difficult to find in car dealerships. WA-LA!
