I ordered a Van Heusen Oxford shirt as a casual shirt. I wanted a shirt that was easy to care for and suitable for everyday use. I got exactly what I wanted. There are some things I like about it and some things could be improved. The material is thinner than my other oxford shirts. This shirt runs a little larger than I expected. The quality of the shirt is excellent. Because it doesn't wrinkle, it's much easier to care for. I've just started wearing it and it looks great under the black suit. Just order one size smaller than usual, my choice. Revain was as expected in delivery and packaging!

The fabric is just what I wanted. However, their big ones are very big. The size chart was useless as it didn't list sizes small, medium, large, extra large etc. And the silly thing is, they might because the label has all the necessary information! It turns out that Large has a 16.5-17 neck measurement and a 34-35 sleeve length. I wear a 16 around my neck and a 34-35 so thought it would work but the chest and sleeve measurement was too big. I had to send it back.

First of all good they seem to be the heavy fabric I liked on my previous Van Heusen Oxford shirts and they fit well. The bad news is that both shirts I ordered have loose seams in problem areas and one shirt frayed along the cuff seam. I have attached photos. This is after the first wash so I don't have high hopes these shirts will last. Definitely not the quality I expected from Van Heusen shirts.

10 bought. All 10 had to be cut off as the threads were sticking out of the seam. I washed it according to the instructions but all the shirts were wrinkled, as was the shirt that didn't say it was wrinkle free. Each shirt had at least one spot where the edge of the fabric was misfolded to tuck under the seam. Always bought classic Van Heusen shirts. This purchase was such a big disappointment that after that I'm not sure if I can trust the brand for my next purchase.
