    I have a few in the camera and photo section

    I have several quick releases that I leave attached to various mounts that I use on a tripod. It's good to quickly set up a spotting scope or camera before the creature disappears.

    Not exactly as advertised

    I bought this part to use with a new tripod I bought. It is mentioned to fit this tripod but does not fit as advertised. You need to make sure you have the right tripod for that component.

    Works well with Vanguard Espod 233AP

    I have a Vanguard Espod 233AP and it fits perfectly and fits as best it can. I wish people who post "that doesn't fit" reviews included model numbers. I was hesitant to buy based on these reviews but I'm glad I did.

    The ones that fit are good

    I have bought several of these quick shoe attachments to fit on every telescope, camera etc. I wanted a tripod but they weren't all the same size so only one of them fit my tripod properly. Although they all came in the same box with the correct model number and were marked with the same model number on each Quick Shoe, they weren't the same model - they were different sizes. Vanguard appears to have serious quality control issues in both manufacturing and packaging processes.

    Fast shoe measures 1 5/16" x 1 5/16" in a narrower upper (damn, I'm American!...but because I Not sure either and want you to like it, I made the conversion for you - it's 1.3337". The shoe on display measures 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" (4.1275 x 4.1275 cm) My tripod Petra hole 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" (4.1275 x 4 .1275 cm) at the top. The great thing about this little shoe is that you can adjust it with tape or duct tape (regular or fancy!) to get the perfect fit, so I added a few layers of the above tape (very…

    Better than original

    I needed a few more of these as I have a macro rail and another camera. Instead of taking it off and putting it back on I could easily change what I was using. This is the best design for assembly as the D-ring is already on the screw. The original needed a coin to turn the screw into what I was trying to attach. The coin option is also available on the new one, but the D-ring is much more comfortable and not flimsy. This mount is solid and fits perfectly.
