They are what they are

These are vans with handles lol Super soft rubber, beware of high temperatures and dirty hands. They get dirty as fast as you let them. Easy to put on. The air compressor does it in 5 minutes. Without struggling with the gas pedal for maybe 10-15 minutes. Very beautiful. I can't wait to ride her.

Pros
  • Easy to set up

Fantastic: Handlebars and Components

Great fit and finish. Easy to install, very grippy, non-sticky. I really like the color of the bull blood, it complements the green color of my 2014 Yamaha Bolt R spec perfectly. If they ever wear out, and it looks like they won't soon, I will definitely buy again. They were a bit shorter than my standard grips, so I kept some of the inner ends of the originals to compensate.

Using Stock Throttle Bushing 09 Sportster 1200 Custom

Snapshot of consumables without 10mm wrench, small 10mm crescent and Torx T-26 bit for strain relief on both cables. ** Silicone spray was only used on the stock side throttle to lubricate both cable glands, the shaft and the inside of the throttle sleeve. Old remains of rot on the throttle valve hub were removed with a spoked wheel. . Wash the sleeve with lukewarm water and let it dry. Apply a parts cleaner and treat the grips. A piece of cake for a maximum of 45 minutes.

Great grip easy install

Product as advertised. 1 larger diameter for your throttle and another slightly smaller diameter for the left side. SUPER EASY INSTALLATION. Removing the factory grips was more difficult than installing them. Tips: Removal: I used a straight plastic interior trim remover to loosen the factory knobs. I sprayed it with wd40 and it came off easily. Be careful not to damage the throttle controls or scratch the steering wheel. Installation: I tried using hairspray but couldn't apply it. As a result,

YOU MUST REMOVE THEM FIRST.

So I got these and they were easy enough to put on the bike but I was very disappointed as they were a quarter inch shorter. Especially on the throttle side. He wasn't leaning on the starter housing. I was so stressed that I started looking for something else. But then there was good old YouTube. In fact I found a video of a man installing the same grips and what I didn't manage to do was pull and stretch the grips prior to installation. It doesn't take much time. Just tighten each handle as…

Looks great on Honda Rebel 500 2021

Easy to install; but they will say that WD-40, a towel and a flat head are needed to remove the exhaust. After inserting a flat head under the old grips (use a cloth to avoid damaging the grip), spray the inside of the grips with WD-40 to remove the adhesive from the grip. Now wipe the WD-40 off with a rag; Then wait for it to dry, stretch and twist the new van grips until you feel they are stretched well. Now all you have to do is use hairspray to mimic grease and then turn into a glue-like…

My husband loves it!

Bought these for my husband for 2019 and he loves them! The grip with them is fantastic, even in the Texas heat. His hands don't slip when he swears, and the Vans outsole construction allows air to circulate. I watched a youtube video on installation and was able to install it for him with no problem. Make sure you have hairspray on hand to make dressing easier. You'll have to use some elbow grease anyway, but hairspray also acts as a sticky substance after drying, keeping them in place. You…

A good upgrade for the price

I read reviews before buying. I wanted to upgrade from the stock Harley grips that I like, but they were 20 years old and turning black on my hands. I have arthritis in my hands and was hoping the new grips might help. The stock Harley grips on my 2000 SuperGlide were glued really well and I had to cut, peel and remove them with a spoked wheel on a drill press. These grips were very tight but I put them on with soap and water and patience and it's not too bad. If they aren't tight to begin…
