Description of Vaughan 585 10 Hammer 4 Inch Diameter

Heads are partially filled with steel shot to increase impact and reduce rebound. One-piece threaded faces feature a shoulder to absorb the force of side blows, protecting the threads. The one-piece, aluminum alloy heads are serrated to help keep the faces tight. Face diameter: 1 1/4-Inches. Weight 1 pound.

Worked great for connecting tight links and driving.

That's one hell of a cool hammer. he delivers a BIG PUNCH. A few years ago the company I work for sent about 8 people to work in Germany. After the work was done, they would leave the tools there, unless we workers wanted to take them home with us in our luggage. It was one of the instruments I brought home from Germany. I wasn't sure if I would need it. But it turned out to be very helpful. I built 6 or 7 bookshelves out of 2x12's using connecting tubes and wooden pegs. Worked great for…
