The cover is beautiful and durable after washing, however I have complained about the condition of the goods at the time of delivery. I really don't like this duvet cover. While it looks great on the bed, it already had cravings, tears, and sore spots when it arrived. It is very thin but NOT durable. It feels like it's made out of tissue paper, although it's very soft as advertised. The clasp is cheap. I can't stand microfiber either. Love it! Looks the same as in the picture. Yes it is quite thin but I think if it were heavier it would affect the weight and the warmth and/or coolness of the duvet inside. I like the look of this duvet cover and pad. The material is very nice and seems to hold up well with regular use. The zipper at the end works well and I had no trouble opening and closing it. The zipper doesn't get stuck in the fabric like others I've had in the past. I almost took off a star because the bindings on the inside of the cover aren't as good as the rest, but I didn't think it was worth giving a full star for that small comment.
