Decent Cat6 Keystone

Good value product. Easy to install, but it is recommended to use a quality hole punch. I always recommend getting at least a cheap RJ45 tester to make sure your connections are correct. They worked well for my home network distribution rack.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Some Cons

Great computer accessories and peripherals

Bought after struggling with a more expensive brand that was designed for Cat6 but was supposed to work with Cat 5e (but it didn't). I straighten the wires and use electrician's scissors to cut them at an angle. Check order, crimp and cut with my Kline crimper.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Everything ok

I was surprised at the quality of this keystone jack for the money.

I needed Cat 6 sockets and thought "why not red?" They were cheap. They look very good and are well tested (yes I used a test meter) for Category 6 applications. I was happy with my purchase and at this price I can afford a few extras in my desk drawer. I was very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • understandable even to the old
Cons
  • will be added later

Channel very narrow

I found them for a good price but as soon as I tried to connect a cable to it I noticed that it was almost impossible to make a real Category 6 connection. The channel is very narrow , and Category 6 cables with plastic disconnect wires are almost impossible to lean against and reach all 8 connectors. Each termination took me twice as long as with other Cat6 Keystone connectors.

Pros
  • Handsome
Cons
  • Doubtful

20 working hours were lost as a result.

Wasted 20 hours of work. Pin 1 and 8 do not work. If so, please provide me with a test certificate. It's just a waste of money and time.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • No paint needed

Some of the most reliable "alternative brands " connectors I've used

I'll give some others a positive review - I don't like the cable layout. Beyond that though, they're incredibly solidly built, especially for the price. Some cheaper jacks save two rear brackets and often break if you deviate even a little. But these things are reliable. Writing this review after purchasing the second spool after the first spool was just what I needed. A very happy customer.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Very good and UL listed

They are better than the regular ones I have used before. They are easy to install and come with a (cheap) installation tool. They get the job done and are UL listed.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Some little things

The channel is very narrow

I found them at a good price but as soon as I tried to connect a cable to it I noticed that it was almost impossible to achieve a true Category 6 connection. The channel is very narrow and a Category 6 cable with a plastic wire cutter is almost impossible to push against it and reach all 8 connectors. Each termination took me twice as long as with other Cat6 Keystone connectors.

Pros
  • Cables and accessories
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

1 Poor 24 Good, generally good price

Home Depot sells them for $5 each, making them very good deals. I only had one bad keystone out of 25 installed. (I'm glad I checked each before zipping everything up). They are no easier or more difficult to install than any other brand and they work as expected. I read in a review that the colors don't match, but that doesn't apply to the batch I received. The build quality is good, especially considering the low price. I'd recommend testing each connection before closing anything, but at the

Simple perforation - bad label

I like the idea of the keystone connector instead of punching through the entire panel. This way you can create all the cables on your desktop and just plug them into the panel (provided you don't pull the cables out of the wall, of course). You have very good control over the work area where you punch the cable - a big plus. Once you get the hang of it, it should also be easy to hook up keystones to a patch panel (too much time figuring out how to do it better/faster). For a beginner like me…

Pros
  • Ethernet cable

  • Minor things
