20 working hours were lost as a result.

Wasted 20 hours of work. Pin 1 and 8 do not work. If so, please provide me with a test certificate. It's just a waste of money and time.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Compatibility

Very good and UL listed

They are better than the regular ones I have used before. They are easy to install and come with a (cheap) installation tool. They get the job done and are UL listed.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Style 90

Decent Cat6 Keystone

Good value for money product. Easy to install, but it is recommended to use a quality hole punch. I always recommend getting at least a cheap RJ45 tester to make sure your connections are correct. They worked well for my home network distribution rack.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Good Female Adapter

This is a great little female adapter. The color coding of the T568A/B cables is easily visible from the side, so you don't need a cheat sheet. Keep this in mind when connecting an A on one side to connect to the same A on the opposite end. I liked that they have a strong, clear plastic piece that attaches to the top to secure the wires after they've been hit.

I was surprised at the quality of this keystone jack for the money.

I needed Cat 6 bushings and thought why not red ones? They were cheap. They look very good and are well tested (yes I used a test meter) for Category 6 applications. I was happy with my purchase and at this price I can afford a few extras in my desk drawer. I was very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Not bad but...

The channel is very narrow

I found them for a good price but as soon as I tried to connect a cable to it I noticed that it was almost impossible to make a true Category 6 connection The Channel is very narrow and the Category 6 cable with a plastic wire cutter makes it almost impossible to lean against it and reach all 8 connectors. Each termination took me twice as long as with other Cat6 Keystone connectors.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

One of the most reliable "alternative brands " jacks I've ever used

I agree with some others - I don't like the layout of the wires. Beyond that though, they're incredibly solidly built, especially for the price. Some cheaper jacks save two rear brackets and often break if you deviate even a little. But these things are reliable. Writing this review after purchasing the second spool after the first spool was just what I needed. A very happy customer.

1 Poor 24 Good, Generally Good

Home Depot sells them for $5 each, making them very good deals. I only had one bad keystone out of 25 installed. (I'm glad I checked each before zipping everything up). They are no easier or more difficult to install than any other brand and they work as expected. I read in a review that the colors don't match, but that doesn't apply to the batch I received. The build quality is good, especially considering the low price. I'd recommend testing each connection before closing anything, but at the

Easy Perforation - Bad Label

I really like the idea of the keystone jack rather than perforating the entire panel. This way you can create all the cables on your desktop and just plug them into the panel (provided you don't pull the cables out of the wall, of course). You have very good control over the work area where you punch the cable - a big plus. Once you get the hang of it, hooking up keystones to a patch panel isn't difficult either (I'll need time to figure out the best/quickest way to do this). For a beginnerโ€ฆ
