Poor Electrical Performance

Pin 1 on these connectors is stuck and does not provide continuity. Although these RJ45 connectors are marked CAT6a, they do not have the additional spacing between groups of pairs required to meet the specifications set out in the IEEE standard. They are identical to CAT5e connectors.

Seems to be working fine so far.

Works well so far. I also bought **VCE Combo Keystone Punch Down Stand and Mini Wire Stripper for RJ45 Cat5/Cat5E/Cat6/Cat6A RJ11 RJ12 Keystone Jack 90/180 Degree Modular Jack**. I have a real stamping tool. However, the stand held the modular Keystone Jack in place. That way I could put it against the wall to knock it down and not damage the wall. The RJ45 A and B color code is on the side of all connectors. Good luck with your project.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Good but not great

installer's worst nightmare

This product has let me down horribly, 1 out of 2 of my installs failed during testing so I have to replace and stop again, waste of time. Bent connectors are a common cause of problems.

Pros
  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • I don't actually like it, everything is fine

Very good quality plugs for the price

These plugs work really great! They fit snugly on my overlay panels and the color is bright and distinctive. Installation was easy. I was pleasantly surprised to find an installation tool that worked very well. I would definitely buy again!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • No mold required

I received Cat6a trapezoids that look good but no punch stand

Where is my punch stand? I have Cat6a Keystones that look fine but without the punch stand. All of their ads say one of them is on. I would give this 5 stars for the cornerstones but I don't like being lied to.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Nothing here

Secure fit and easy connection8

Easy to terminate, grip cables tightly. The lid makes it safer. The best 90 degree connector in over 10 years. Thanks, I have photos.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read front panel
Cons
  • Legacy

Take a good pusher

So far those are good connectors. Used about 6 packs. The biggest problem is that they don't come with a sliding tool and the one I've found doesn't cut the wire close enough. As a result, the plastic caps don't snap into place like they should. The solution for me is duct tape, although that's not the way to go; This is my home. Otherwise I get strong signals over my network with no packet loss. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase. Just with them came a good sliding tool.

Pros
  • Cables and connections
Cons
