What a total disappointment. Despite good reviews and seemingly decent build quality, the results of using this adapter are terrible. The amount of interference generated is unlike any other dongle or adapter I have ever used. Sounds like it's conducting RFI or ground noise. I've used other adapters with the exact same configuration in the past and none of them have done this. I didn't have much time and figured this might work. Apparently I was wrong.

If you're like me you've got a smartphone that still has a 3.5mm audio jack. You may also have purchased an enclosure with a slightly larger cutout than the outlet. The problem is that most adapters like this one are big enough to fit a 1/4" plug and don't taper to fit through the cutout in your case, making a clean connection. I bought two of these units to use with my kids Revain Fire. In less than a month of use, the connector broke off and got stuck in the Revain Fire's 3.5mm headphone jack. I've tried every method in the book to get this piece out, but failed. I tried using the inside of the bic grip to try and get it out. Nothing.
