I was a little hesitant to buy them without seeing them, I've never bought jewelry for my body without being able to see and touch them! But it exceeded my expectations, especially the price! I had to shrink the tongue piercing THREE TIMES because I kept getting friction scars on the underside of the tongue piercing from the rod moving too much. I went from 16mm to 14mm and ended up buying 12mm and they are PERFECT. The jewelry feels snug, but not so tight that the jewelry sinks into my tongue. Bought these because I needed something new. I have 16mm and it's the perfect size, my only complaint is that the balls are very small. It feels like I have nothing on my tongue, whereas the regular ones you can buy in the store tend to be a bit larger and more flashy. It appears to be durable and of high quality, but time will tell. In less than a month my tongue is so swollen I can't speak suggesting the metal is not surgical steel and is breaking down as I am STRONGLY allergic to anything but surgical steel.
