This comforter is incredibly soft and the nautical print is just gorgeous! However, it wasn't sewn well enough to hold the sheets together. I had to hand sew it so it wouldn't tear in the next wash.

Beautiful, bright colour. The thin blanket I needed for Florida. Cute shell and seahorse prints also pair well with Florida. But when I order a duvet, I expect the duvet to be custom made. This quilt is heat laid, not sewn. I doubt it will hold up to multiple washes.

I ordered this because the description said it was a duvet. The definition of a quilt is two pieces of fabric with the center piece sewn, i.e. batting. It's just a very light blanket. Good if you want a light comforter and plan to cover it with a quilt, but if you order it as a quilt or bedspread to use as a bedspread or comforter, unfortunately you will be disappointed.

I like it very much! I find that with more king size quilts they are not big enough for a king size bed. By that I mean I grew up where if you have a queen size bed you buy a king size bed so it fits/looks better. Well if you are a king size there is nothing more. Beautiful blanket! Shams are suitable for standard pillows. Bought this comforter to update our beach style guest bedroom. The quilt is lightweight, but "puffy" starfish, shells, seahorses, etc. create the increased dimension characteristic of more expensive quilts. This quilt set is exactly as described. It's a lightweight set for warmer tropical climates, or as an extra duvet to throw over regular bedding when it gets cooler. The design is great, even though its pinsonic is not stitched, it is gently washed but hung to dry as the higher temperature of the dryer loosens the quilting.
