I purchased this item for my mom's 86th birthday on October 18th. It only took 10 minutes to assemble. Connecting the lights took a little longer because I was trying to figure it out. The item holds 5 dozen cupcakes and the stand has been beautifully lit to decorate the cake table. This requires 2A batteries which are not included but the light was left on from 9am to 3pm. This cake stand is very neat and easy to assemble. Including tool. It's simple and basic, but strong. I love that it's made out of clear plastic which makes it very versatile for any event. It holds a good amount of cupcakes and has enough space between the hoops so it doesn't hit my cupcakes or mess up the frosting. The stand looks great with fairy lights.
