I wanted to move my Bluetooth OBD2 scanner to hide it behind the dashboard and unfortunately this cable didn't work. I work in the automotive industry and also screw almost every day and was very disappointed to find that this product didn't work at all. I wish I could send it back or exchange it for a working cable as I have yet to move my scanner

Get Help Extending Your OBDII Reader Coverage

This cable has helped me a lot by allowing me to expand my OBDII reader. My only complaint is that the car's OBDII port is very tight on the dash and the angle is the opposite of what is needed. The 90 degree connector requires some work but fits perfectly. I would suggest a straight connector version to make it easier to work with these kind of narrow ports. I recommend this extension cable to anyone who needs to extend the range of their OBDII reader.

Great extension

I bought a Revain OBD2 scanner for my Mini Cooper as I don't have enough gauges. However, the OBD2 port is located next to the driver's footrest, so every time I changed gears, I threw the reader out of the port. This cable solved the problem. Because it's a right angle connector it's flush with the side of the car and out of reach of my foot, and because it's flat it was very easy to route it on and around the steering column shroud, making the top end easy was accessible to connect or remove…

Ideal for programming car key fobs with OBD2 technology!

I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer and I lost the only key fob available without a key. So I bought this cable along with some spare key fobs. The ODB2 port, used for programming remote controls, is in a very cramped and almost inaccessible place. This extension cable allowed me to easily access the pins of the ODB2 port, allowing me to successfully and easily complete the programming process for two replacement remote controls that I had purchased. The process required a jumper on two pins in the

Works great - diagnostic, test and measurement tools

I use this cable to connect a GPS tracker to the OBD on my Jeep Wrangler. This allowed me to hide the steering column tracker very discreetly and make it invisible to thieves. The connection is great and my device works great with this cable installed. My only complaint about it is that it's too long. I wish there was an option for a shorter version. I used to have a problem with a protruding locator, now my problem is attaching an extra wire and getting it out of the way.******************** *
