I like this overlay and am glad I have it. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that you have to be careful with it as it tends to fall off when you put the camera in and out of the car or put it in and out of the camera bag.

Originally fitted my Nikon D610 well, rotates easily (during installation) for landscape or portrait shooting. But then I took it to the camera for a long trip out of town with a lot of shooting, often with and without the camera in my backpack, often just carrying the camera with a strap on my shoulder. The eye shadow loosened significantly after 2-3 days, then enough to fall off (and be lost) just a day or 2 after that. A small zip tie secures the piece, a black one would even look nice, but…

PRO: Fits the viewfinder well. quality material. Easy to rotate orientation. CON: At first I thought it would be nice to have an oval eye patch. After putting it on the camera, I found that it didn't work well when switching from landscape to portrait; or by alternating which eye I'm shooting with (which I didn't realize I switch often). ***The biggest issue with this eye patch is how easy it is to attach and detach the camera.
