I have followed the advice of others and went down one size from my usual size. I'm glad I did as it fits as expected with a size 42 instead of a 43 which is my usual size. The shoes are very comfortable, although I noticed that the right side is a little narrower than the left. However, I find that it sags a bit if I keep wearing it. As for durability, I'll be back in 6 months for another review. I recommend you to buy

I bought my husband a regular size 9.5 and they are a bit long but the size of the shoe misses a size 9 so he decided to keep them; in winter he can wear thick socks. They are flexible, the skin is supple and they have a good grip. The outsole material is soft, which doesn't make it last long, but it's comfortably soft and quiet, and offers good traction on snow and ice. They look and feel great. The upper and the sole are very soft. Of course, this means less support, especially in the ball of the foot. The heel is also soft, so it's a little difficult to 'put on' without hands unless you're kicking it with your feet when the shoe is on a hard surface to keep it in place. Not so hot what's up. I have some dr. Scholl inserts inserted to support the arch of the foot. I use them around the house and another pair of slip-ons for going out.

A very nice pair of shoes. They are built or appear to be built the way they look. They're a bit big for me as I usually buy a $10 shirt, but not so big that next time I'll order a half size smaller. There are pressure points in the insole with labels on what each of them is supposed to act on (but so far inadequate utility). Overall very good shoes for the money and I would buy them again.
