Vera Bradley claims "COTTON IS CHANGED" but I didn't realize it would be recycled into PVC plastic. It's very pretty, but I was expecting really "cotton" cotton, like her lovely matching bag made from recycled cotton, not "plasticized" cotton. Although the description says "has 2 zippered PVC pockets and loops for attaching to a 3 ring binder", that's pretty much it. So when I got this the product name was "Vera Bradley Recycled Cotton Pencil Case" and the product description kept going back to cotton, cotton, cotton, with a small mention of PVC. I thought the printed parts were cotton and the clear parts were PVC. But what I received appears to be entirely PVC. It can be cotton with a thick layer of PVC, or it can be PVC with an embossed texture on the surface of the PVC. So remember, when you receive this you are basically receiving a plastic pencil case…
