There was a large hole in it and the return was not opened. It also smelled like someone's fabric softener. By the time I realized that, it was too late to return. It looked like someone washed it, ripped it up, and then put it back. It shouldn't have been resold.

This duvet faded so much the first time it was washed that the fluff clogged the pump in our washing machine and we had to use a shop vacuum to clean it. In addition, our cat's claws immediately got caught on the waffle fabric. We had to unhook the panicked cat and the hook is ugly so our ceiling is already ruined. HORRIBLE QUALITY. This blanket doesn't seem to be of this world for long; I will never buy this manufacturer again!

Very beautiful blanket, I have dark gray. It seems well done. It looks the same as some of the more expensive comforters. The only problem is that it shrunk in the first wash. It's cotton so I'm not surprised. I washed it in cold water and only partially tumble dried but it did shrink a bit, I wanted it to stay longer to cover the sides of my king mattress. Basically, this is a beautiful blanket. Even with shrinkage, a king-size mattress works great for a king-size mattress.
