I bought this item to use a spirit level because I wasn't sure what spirit levels I have. works great for me. The weight of the Viborg LP190H is not enough to fix the vinyl chain. I am happy with this purchase.

This item comes in really handy for making sure my turntable is level. I don't always use it over my records. I can't tell much of a difference in sound quality whether it's on or off. However, a platter level helps reduce disc shake a bit, which improves the sound quality a bit.

This one has a bubble which I assume is used to let you know it is properly centered on the disk spindle stand. But even with small adjustments I can't center the bubble? So maybe just a trick? Also, I can't close the record sleeve with this stand attached to the spindle that I've seen in other reviews. That's a shame as it would be nice to at least leave it on the spindle stand when not making music. Has a decent weight.

This isn't a staple, but it's a comfortable, not-so-heavy record weight. Not what I wanted as I have a hanging desk and it messes up my arm alignment. I will be leaving this anyway as I didn't read the reviews like I should have. The description should remove the word "clamp" as it doesn't. I give 4 stars because it is well made and inexpensive. I may use it on a new table of the future one day. I can't rate the sound quality as I don't know how to use it.

Purchased for use with Pro-Ject Essential III. The spindle of this machine is high and the Viborg fits perfectly. I didn't need the heavy 1-2 pound weight as I was afraid of putting so much on the bearings and disc. If you want to help with albums where the center hole might be a bit too big or deform a bit when pressed, this helps and doesn't scare you by putting so much pressure on your gear. Why didn't I think of that? Until then, leveling the platter was only possible with a standard workshop spirit level by moving it in different directions. In this case, the bladder is centered in a record weight placed just above the spindle.
