Fantastic lights, best seasonal decoration

It was really difficult to find a bunch of randomly flickering LEDs - they are amazing - love them - a long and bright filament just what I was looking for around one large window box full of greenery and dogwood branches - very nice

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Annoying

I love the shimmer on the indoor garlands

Very vividly. I love the shimmer even if it's only 1 out of 4 lights. Another nice effect. I have a pre-lit tree 7-1/2 feet tall with white light. I like multicolor so I always add color and always shimmer. Some may find them too bright but I like them.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

"Flicker " lights aren't very useful

Seemingly good, but the flicker feature isn't that desirable. It's not really a random flicker in any case, just an on/off function. The color is a nice warm white light but I was really looking for a nice shimmer which they don't offer.

Pros
  • Useful not just for their intended purpose
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Energy efficient, LED color is deep, pure, beautiful.

Couldn't find flickering Christmas tree lights in any major store by chance. They work great on my tree, energy efficient. The color of the LEDs is deep and pure. The random flickering really adds depth to my tree. I will buy two more strings next year.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Difficult to remember but it was

The lights flicker as advertised, just not all.

Only 12 lights out of 50 are blinking I used the bulbs on a lamp I made that was supposed to flicker. This was a project lamp for my granddaughter. We worked together and assembled the lamp and I never told her that all the bulbs had to blink. She is very happy and took him home for Christmas.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Can I add something

Perfect shimmer! in seasonal decor

These lights are a perfect example of the word flicker. They don't blink, interrupt, haunt, or irritate. Roughly one in five lightbulbs gently lights up and then goes out, very tastefully. It's like looking at real stars in the night sky. You look beautiful on my wreath. Very happy with my purchase. Would buy again without hesitation.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Long Wait

Doesn't go with other warm LED wide angle lights I've already bought.

There were other wide angle warm white lights that I tried to combine. Bad idea. My other lights were almost yellow compared to these lights. I couldn't get it. They removed all the lights from my Christmas tree and put in colored lightbulbs. I hate the look of LED lights on Christmas trees. Too shocking. I can't enjoy the view of the tree.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Style 90

Vickerman is pretty much the best you can find for a reasonable price

These are Vickerman lamps, that's all there is to it. Probably the best on the market. Sure, they cost more than the ones sold in bigh box stores (and hardware stores), but they last, last, and last. I used these red (non-shimmery ones) and these white ones in the 8ft candy cane you see here.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

These LEDs really flicker

I bought LED Christmas lights last year because I was concerned about the heat generated by old incandescent bulbs and the ones that have come out in the last two years resemble old incandescent bulbs in size and overall shape. The only thing is they didn't blink and while I was looking for devices to connect the strings to and make them blink I couldn't find anything. So when I saw this set of twinkle lights I bought five strings for a very small Christmas tree as there are only 50 bulbs in…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things
